Well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds deliver a pleasant stay. The breakfast options cater to various tastes, with a solid selection of fruits and a full English that hits the spot.
Heating system operates inconsistently, leaving guests too hot under the covers during the day while the nights can be too cold.

The hotel was nicely decorated and I loved the streets of York. The breakfast had a good choice of selection, the food was exceptional. The location was exceptional and the staff was accommodating during the whole stay! A cool bonus was Busk, located nearby, it offered tea and coffee.

Enjoyable break. Spotless room, in fact spotless throughout the house. Nicely decorated room, spacious and clean. Good location, easy to find and a nice walk along the river into the centre, took us about 15 minutes. Definitely will be staying again next time we visit York. Great value, there really would not be a need to stay anywhere else.
